Another shot of the vineyard - we've got millions of them.
Photo of the 2007 Shiraz. Must get some up to date photos. The 2008 looks just the same in the bottle except the year is different.
2010 Chardonnay
A reserve style chardonnay with full oak treatment – 15 months on French oak – and full malolactic fermentation.
This
wine is deep rich and luscious with melon, citrus and fig characters followed by some honeyed butterscotch. Fine oak treatment
has resulted in persistent integrated oak characters without dominating the wine. A good long chardonnay that matches well
with rich savoury foods.
2009 Pinot Noir
Made from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Faraday area. This wine displays rich cherry character and some strawberry
fruit together with typical varietal earthy dryness and a hint of barnyard. This wine has a long palate with a dry savoury finish.
Price $24/bottle or $240/case
2008 Shiraz
100% Shiraz from the slopes of Mount Alexander. This is an elegant wine exhibiting blackberry, plum and dark cherry characters
typical of the wines produced in the granitic sandy slopes of the mount. The fruit is balanced with peppers and light tannins giving
the wine good length.
Price $18/bottle or $180/case
Madame Butterfly
A light sweet red wine made from Shiraz but made in a Lambrusco style. Best served chilled.
Sorry - SOLD OUT
2009 Cabernet Shiraz
A blend of 67.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32.5% Shiraz, this wine displays intense Cabernet characteristics at
the front of the palate such as blackcurrant and cassis followed by rich black fruit characters from the Shiraz such at blackberry,
plum and dark cherry and is then finished off with a lingering spice from the oak.
Unfortunately our 2009 has sold out. Watch
out for the 2010.
