This one has lots of pepper on the nose and front of the palate before the traditional blackberry, plum
and dark cherry characteristics kick in. every bit as intense and yet soft as the previous vintages but the pepper up front.

Our latest release of this favorite this time it is 85% Cab Sav and 15% Shiraz.
Why do we change
it each year? Because the two wines change every year and we make the blend to present consistent flavours from year to year
and from the front of the palate to long after you have swallowed it.
Classic Central Victorian cabernet characteristics with
minty eucalpyt up front and rich blackcurrent on the palate with full shiraz characters in the mid palate and good length.

Winegenius.com review: "Delightfully fresh and varietal. Plump ripe cherry, blood plum and spiced dried fruits run from the front to the back of this wine. With subtle savoury oak, sour acidity and good length. This is one of the better Merlots sampled recently.
